According to Facebook, these are the top books at Penn State:

How is Angels and Demons beating The Da Vinci Code? Do people think Angels and Demons is more alternative?
I started working on this a year ago, but only finished it today. Enjoy!

The chapter titles on the 24 DVDs are amazing.

The best yet? Season 3, episode 13, chapter 3 - "Unauthorized Baby"
I saw Grindhouse Friday and loved it, but the most exciting part was after the credits. There was a film crew in the lobby shooting people yelling "GO SEE GRINDHOUSE!" for a national commercial. I always thought those were actors, but anyone can do it!

If you see me in a commercial, let me know!

Two more exciting things:

- This Friday at 8, you can see Streeter and I on VH1's 40 Greatest Internet Superstars special. It premieres this Friday, March 23rd at 8. We shot commentaries for a bunch of videos and I'm not sure what they'll use, but we should be in there.

- I just shot my first "lip dubbing" video for Vimeo, and it was a lot of fun. I'm excited to do more. I basically stole Amir's idea for Paulina and reversed it. In addition, I made Amir hold the camera so a double-thanks to him.

Lip Dubbing - The Freshman by Verve Pipe on Vimeo

The song in my headphones is actually The Freshman at double speed, a la Spike Jonze's Undone video. I couldn't get the lip synch 100%, but it straightens out by the end.

I can't tell you how embarrassing it is when I misspell a search on Google, and the #1 result is me misspelling it on CollegeHumor.

In my defense it was on Halloween, my caption-iest day of the year.

(the search was to confirm that they were in fact called Pendants of Life, since I wanted to refer to them for this this one)

Great article on CollegeHumor.

The author, Patrick Cassels, is an unbelievable talent. His "The Riddler Gets Lazy" is one of the funniest things I've ever read.

Two exciting things -

1. You know those shoes with the wheels in the heels that you see idiot kids on? They're called Heelies. I got 'em, and so did my coworkers! Video here. I'm improving, slowly.

2. The CollegeHumor Guide to College is now out in paperback. I dare call it the best book ever written by people that own Heelies.

I used to be a counselor at a travel camp for kids. Every day was a different field trip. It was a enormously fun for a few summers. These pictures were taken on a trip to Madamme Tussaud's Wax Museum in Times Square. I was so funny!

Here I am with Christopher Reeve. At the time he was still alive, so it didn't seem that bad.

Here I am with Israeli prime minister Golda Meir. At the time, she was dead.

I'm not sure exactly what year this is, but my Dave Matthews Band t-shirt makes me think ~2002. I still wear Tevas, though.

For the record, everybody at Madamme Tussaud's takes at least one picture of them self groping a celebrity. Or maybe that's only if you go with a bunch of kids.

I went digital cable spelunking the other day and stumbled upon Rise, the Christian channel. They were showing Thou Shalt Laugh, a sort of Christian Kings of Comedy hosted by Everybody Loves Raymond's Patricia Heaton.

Thou Shalt Laugh has few surprises. One is a ventriloquist. The other is a genuine laugh from comedian Jeff Allen.
"Trust me, I believe teenagers are god's revenge on mankind. It's as if god looked down and said 'Hey, let's see how they like it when they create someone in their own image who denies their existence."
Not bad! You can hear that joke, see the ventriloquist, and sample all the other acts at the Thou Shalt Laugh website.

I don't often talk about my picture captions here, but I think this might be the best one I've done in months.

Difficult to read URLs from movie posters -

Two things on CollegeHumor I'm really excited about today -

1. I started writing a new column - "A Winner Is You". Basically, I lifted the format from Amir & Ethan's hilarious "Straight Cash, Homey!" column and made it about video games instead.

2. We've been working on this one for a while - the Lost theme song. Scott wrote the song, Streeter and I found the footage, and Dan Gurewich edited it all together. It was more work than we expected, but I couldn't be happier with the final product.

Simple English Wikipedia.

It's almost like a Wikipedia for Wikipedia.

Here's some stuff I have been up to while I haven't been blogging -

Cool Kids Club - Last week's show went great. Thanks to everyone who came. I thought it was by far our strongest show yet, and I'm really excited that we're doing it again tomorrow (the 29th). The show is at 7 at the PIT. Come check it out!

24k Out- Ricky has done a lot of smart things, like starting a multimillion dollar company. However, his greatest idea yet may be the 24 Workout Plan. I'm just about done with season 1.

Dexter - This show is really good.

Dr. Ruth - She stopped by our office recently.

Let me make up for my lack of writing lately by telling you My Single Favorite Thing I Know. One of my college roommates worked for a summer as a life guard at Sesame Place. If someone poops in the pool, it's referred to internally as a "Code Snuffy."

What's your favorite thing you know?

- We're also doing two of our own shows at the PIT Monday January 22nd and 29th. I know I've mentioned it before, but now I'm telling you again. This won't be the last time.

- Matt made an awesome new logo
